It is hard to believe Bob is not going to be sitting behind us in worship service on Sunday mornings. BUT what a joy it is to know Bob is now worshiping in the presence of Jesus. We were so blessed to know Bob and considered it such a privilege to call him friend. We also consider ourselves blessed to call you friend. We love you and continue to pray for your and your family.

Bob was one of the most generous friends I knew. He was always thinking of others. On more occasions than I can count, he made and gave me photos, digitized tapes and basically helped with anything in his realm of expertise, which was vast. Bob was a true example to others. He never stopped learning. I was so fortunate to have known Bob and I will never forget him. William Blair Scott, Jr., Hon. AIA, Architectural Historian, Past President - Jazz Arts Foundation

I remember the big move you made just past Fayette
Mall when Bill and Mattie Umshied and I joined in hauling what seemed like tons of records Bob brought along from NY. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and professional dedication in every endeavor. I was most grateful for his patience in teaching me to transfer DAT oral history recordings to the more permanent CD format so others could enjoy the interviews. I considered him a loyal and quite friend and will miss him. He was an inspiration to me. May God be with you.
